I am originally from Sheepshead Bay and have lived in Los Angeles for over 27 years. I ordered three jars of the medium sauce and had them shipped to LA. The wife and I went out and bought some calamari (Galamah), steamed it, poured the heated sauce over it, and it was just like eating the dish on Emmons Ave. The medium sauce was spot in. All that was missing were the old school waitresses, and the hard bread that comes with the dish, so my wife cut up a baguette from Trader Joes, threw it on the table and said, "Here you go Honey!", and then we buttered and dipped the sliced baguette in the sauce. Perfection!
